We are a beloved community.
Since 1898, we have remained a welcoming and inclusive community for students of all ethnic, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds. We celebrate our differences and learn from them. We work together and respect each other.
We are small—and strong.
Our classes are small by design, and do not exceed 15 students. With a 6:1 student to teacher ratio, our teachers get to know each student, their individual learning styles, and the best ways to challenge each of them to reach their full potential.
We are joyful.
We believe learning should be fun, so play and discovery are important aspects of our daily program. While we value hard work and are dedicated to quality education, we make sure our students have plenty of opportunities to simply be kids, and on our campus – enjoy nature!
We are spiritual.
Bethany School is rooted in Episcopal tradition and we encourage the exploration of all faiths. Our religion program and chapel services inspire children to discover what spirituality means to them and realize their potential and place in their community.
We are curious.
Our students learn by doing. Our dedicated teachers challenge them to think creatively and question the world around them. Hands-on activities, project-based learning, science lab work, and field trips at all grade levels are integral to the Bethany School learning environment, which is further enhanced by classrooms equipped with interactive monitors, laptops, tablets and other state-of-the-art tools.
