Blessing of the Pets Tradition Returned

In honor of St. Francis who was known for his great love of all of God’s creatures, families brought dogs, rabbits, lizards, and one VERY nervous cat to receive a prayer for God’s blessing in thanksgiving for the many ways that they reflect God’s love in our lives.  Students who did not have a pet in attendance participated by bringing a picture of a pet, a faborite animal, or a stuffed animal to be blessed.  Many thanks to Father David Pfaff and Mother Cameron O’Riley from Christ Church Glendale and Pastor Michael Pearl from the St. Monica’s Center for joining us for the fun!
