Dear Bethany Bluehawk Community,
I am delighted to have been selected as Bethany School’s next Head of School! I look forward to meeting and greeting each one of you. Bethany School has been a beacon of hope and a sanctuary for children and families for over 120 years and it will be my distinct honor to continue Bethany’s traditions of academic excellence and spiritual growth and to shepherd Bethany School into the future as a space where curious learners thrive! I fully embrace the opportunity to lead Ohio’s only Episcopal school, a K-8 program which lays a firm spiritual and academic foundation for children to discover their passion, to develop a sense of humanity, and to live purposeful lives of service.
As Head of School, my first orders of business will be as follows:
- to listen to understand that which is quintessentially Bethany,
- to register the routines and rhythms of the days, weeks, months, and years,
- to inspire the faithful, open engagement of all Bethany constituencies, and
- to forge relationships in the Greater Cincinnati community in order to “get the word out” about Bethany School!
I am so grateful for the vision, dedication, and support of the Community of the Transfiguration, the Bethany School Board of Trustees, and the Head of School Search Committee, whose warm welcome and commitment to the school reaffirm my decision to join the Bethany community! This summer, my daughter, Marley Rose, and I will relocate to the Cincinnati area. We are looking forward to embarking on this new and exciting adventure with you! I thank you all for your confidence and trust in me and in Bethany.
With kindness, simplicity, and joy,
Holly Moten Fidler
Head of School
