School Leadership
Bethany School is guided by a team of dedicated and passionate administrators, board members, and Sisters who help us achieve our mission every day.
Board Members and Leadership:

Board Responsibilities:
- Ensuring alignment with the school’s mission
- Providing fiduciary oversight and strategic planning
- Hiring and evaluating the Head of School
The Board delegates full operational leadership to the Head of School, who is responsible for implementing policy and managing operations.
The 17-member Board includes two non-voting members (Head of School and Legal Advisor) and four Ex Officio positions:
- Head of School
- Sister Superior of the Society of the Transfiguration
- Bishop of the Diocese of Southern Ohio (or representative)
- President of BEAP (Bethany Educators and Parents)
An Executive Committee consisting of the Board President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Sister Superior, and the Head of School oversees urgent governance matters.
The Board meets six times during the academic year, alongside a two-day summer retreat.
