Friend of Bethany School

Kathleen is a lifetime member of the Professional Golfers’ Association of America who has dedicated many years of her life to young people by teaching golf and other valuable life lessons through The First Tee, a nonprofit organization. In 1988 she became the first woman head golf professional in Tennessee, later she served as a PGA Adjunct Faculty Member for about 20 years and she currently serves veterans as a PGA HOPE Lead Coach by helping them work through physical injuries and mobility limitations, PTSD, socialization, and other challenges while developing golf skills.

When Kathleen was a child, she had an opportunity to visit our campus in the era when Bethany was still an all-female boarding school and remembers asking her parents if she could go here! She has since been a great friend to our school including being a generous contributor to our most recent capital campaign, and financial donor over the years. 

Kathleen joined the Board of Trustees at Bethany School in 2025.
