Independent Schools Association of the Central States (ISACS)

Bethany School is proud to celebrate our full accreditation from the Independent Schools Association of the Central States (ISACS), effective for the next seven years, through June of 2033. This is the culmination of many years of hard work and planning from our entire school community and that has led us to the highest commendation possible for an independent school in our region. This deeply reflects our commitments to academic excellence, sound and principled operating standards, and strong financial management and stewardship.

 

Bethany School has joined an elite group of only 240 schools across the Midwest and 44 in Ohio to be fully accredited by ISACS. Accreditation is reserved to schools who pass a rigorous process that is evaluative and continuously focused on improvement to best serve students.

National Association of Episcopal Schools

The National Association of Episcopal Schools (NAES) is an independent, 501(c)(3), voluntary membership organization that supports, serves, and advocates for the vital work and ministry of approximately 800 Episcopal schools, early childhood education programs, and school establishment efforts throughout The Episcopal Church.

 

Chartered in 1965, with historic roots dating to the 1930s, NAES is the only pre-collegiate educational association that is both national in scope and Episcopal in character.

NAES advances Episcopal education and strengthens Episcopal schools through essential services, resources, conferences, and networking opportunities on Episcopal school identity, leadership, and governance, and on the spiritual and professional development of school leaders.

National Association of Independent Schools

The National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) is a nonprofit membership association dedicated to unlocking the extraordinary potential in students, independent schools, and their communities.

Ohio Alliance of Independent Schools

The Ohio Alliance of Independent Schools consists of 46 member schools throughout the state of Ohio, all committed to the quality education that independent schools provide to students from diverse backgrounds. Each school is governed by an independent board with a focus on the school and education itself, not other issues that may affect the quality of a school’s curriculum or teaching.

Our schools believe the state of Ohio’s government ought to give more freedom and independence to private schools to operate and teach according to each school’s mission instead of bogging down administrators with government mandates. OAIS continues to lead the fight at Ohio’s Statehouse for more freedom from government mandates for private schools.
