Peter has been a faculty member in the Department of Psychology at Miami University since
2005. He is currently a Full Teaching Professor in Brain, Cognition, and Development; and a Faculty Teaching Associate with the Center for Teaching Excellence.

He and his wife chose Bethany School for their daughter because of the school’s strong academic preparation, global perspective, deep commitment to diversity and inclusion, and focus on environmental sustainability.
Peter joined the Board of Trustees at Bethany School in 2020.
