Back to School Events Schedule

Mark your calendars and save the dates for our lineup of events in August 2026 to kick off the new school year.
 
Thursday, August 6th: New Family Orientation, 6:00 pm, Herzner Dining Hall
We invite our new families to join us for an evening of fellowship as we formally welcome you to the Bethany community. We will introduce you to school leadership, share about school operations and traditions, and answer all questions you may have. 
 
Sunday, August 16th: All Family Picnic, 1-3:00 pm, Bethany Campus
Join us with your family for a picnic lunch that is co-hosted by school leadership and our Bethany Educators and Parents (BEAP).

Wednesday August 12th:  Parent Athletic Meeting 6:00 pm Herzner Hall
Parents/guardians of all students participating in volleyball are required to attend the parent athletic meeting. We will review important information regarding the upcoming season, athletic expectations, communication, and school policies. Parents of students planning to play basketball may attend this meeting or the one in October.  
 
Thursday August 13th: Bethany Beyond Virtual Informative Meeting 6:00 pm

Thursday, August 20th: First Day of School, 1st to 8th Grades
7:00 – 7:30 am:

1st–8th grade drop-off begins at 7:00 am in the Oak Road parking lot, with students entering the Herzner Dining Hall.
Beginning at 7:30 am:

 

  • 3rd to 8th grades: Continue entering through the Herzner Dining Hall
  • 1st-2nd grades: Drop-off moves to the front of the Bethlehem building
The school day begins promptly at 8:00 am. 
 
Thursday, August 20th: Kindergarten Orientation and Boohoo Breakfast, 9-11 am
As a gentle introduction to Bethany School for new Kindergarteners and their parents. Students will visit their classrooms, meet their teachers, and make new friends while parents will gather in the Herzner Dining Hall to enjoy the opportunity to meet one another, enjoy a meal together, and learn more about Bethany from school leadership.  
 
Thursday, August 27th: Back to School Night, 6-7:30 pm
Parents will have the opportunity to meet their student’s teachers and other staff and learn more about the 2026-2027 academic year. 

Bethany Beyond-Extended Day Reimagined


Bethany Beyond is more than after-school care—it’s an extension of the Bethany experience! Designed for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade, Bethany Beyond provides a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where students can continue learning, creating, exploring, and building friendships long after the final bell rings. Led by caring Bethany faculty and staff, our program gives families peace of mind while providing students with meaningful opportunities to grow, have fun, and thrive.

Character Mondays Now Character Fridays!


New for the 2026-2027 school year, Character Monday, our student character education program, is moving its monthly gathering and assembly date to the first Friday of each month, beginning Friday, September 4.*

All students will need to wear their Character T-shirts on Character Fridays with uniform bottoms on the First Friday of the Month. Students will receive their new grade-level specific color t-shirts on the first day of school. On all other Fridays, students are welcome and encouraged to wear Bethany spirit wear, with uniform bottoms. 

*In the event that the first Friday of the month falls during a school break/closure, the date will be moved to the second Friday.

Office Hours

 
Summer hours of 8:00 am to 3:00 pm will remain through Wednesday, August 19th. Please call the Main Office before visiting campus at 513-771-7462. 

Starting Thursday, August 20th, Office Hours will be 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. 
 

Parent-Student Handbook

School Supplies


As a friendly reminder, all students will have their main academic school supplies provided for them by Bethany and will receive them on the first day of school. They will also be given a student planner. 
 
Items such as backpacks, lunch boxes, water bottles, gym clothes, and other similar items are the responsibility of our families.

Start of School Forms

 
Start of school forms were sent out on August 5th.

-They will be emailed to the primary parent

 -All forms must be submitted electronically before the first day of school

 -No student will be allowed to begin the school year if Bethany is missing any of his or her forms.

 

Student Lunch

Access to student lunch accounts will be live starting on Thursday, August 6th.

Business Office Information

  • You can access all the important Business Office links and information here
  • Initial invoices went out on Monday, July 20 via email. You will be able to pay directly from these invoice emails via ACH by entering your bank account information, and there will be no charge to you for this service. 
  • Tuition and annual fee balances will be invoiced separately per your enrollment contract. If you prefer to make a larger payment at any time, a credit will be applied to future invoices. 
  • The first payment was due on Saturday, August 1. If you choose to pay via credit card, you will incur a 3% upcharge. 
  • You can log in and view your invoices here. Please verify your account settings, including payment methods and Auto-pay option.
  • Late fees of 1.5% per month will accrue on overdue balances.
  • Invoices will be emailed monthly on the 20th for the next month. Payments are due the 1st of each month.
  • Accounts with delinquent balances (including tuition, fees, lunch, etc.) at the end of any trimester will lose access to student report cards and information and will not be able to return to school and participate in extracurricular activities
  • Bethany School is now participating in the EdChoice Expansion and Traditional Programs. You can learn more at EdChoice Expansion and EdChoice Traditional.
  • We strongly encourage families seeking financial assistance to apply for the EdChoice Scholarship.
Lunch Payments

  • The Lunchtime system will be used strictly for lunch payments. You can add to your lunch balance here.
  • Please login to your Lunchtime account to set up food restrictions and other preferences for your child’s meal account. LunchTime setup instructions LunchTime System Set-Up Instructions
  • All payments should be made electronically. If on occasion you need to pay via paper check, please utilize the lock box on the Administration Building.

Uniform Policy Update and Friday Dress Code


Please review our 2026-2027 Uniform Policy.

The following changes are in effect for the 2026-2027 school year and beyond:

-7th grade students are no longer allowed to wear red polo shirts nor khaki pants. 

-This year’s 8th grade students WILL BE permitted to wear red polos shirts and khakis pants for their final year at Bethany. This will be the last opportunity for this dress code option.

-All students will need to wear their Character T-shirts on Character Fridays with uniform bottoms on the First Friday of the Month.

-On all other Fridays, students are welcome and encouraged to wear Bethany spirit wear and uniform bottoms. 
Bethany Educators and Parents (BEAP) will be hosting their annual Used Uniform Sale to provide gently used student uniforms at affordable prices to our Bethany families.

New Bethany spirit wear will also be available for purchase! 

The sale will be taking place in the Betheva building near the north edge of campus, next to the Bethlehem building.
